Work Packages

A Round Table discussion on “Inertial Fusion Energy: Future Prospects” will take place in Edinburgh during the EPS Conference on 2 July 2026, 13:00-14:30. The session would be chaired by the member of HiPER+ Executive Committee prof. Luca Volpe. Session will include a brief overview of the current state of inertial fusion, followed by an interactive panel and audience discussion on EU strategy, industry engagement, community synergies across plasma science, and training the next generation of researchers.
